Conbextra TS is a high-flow, non-shrink, aggregate filled cementitious grout grouting for gap thicknesses 75 to 500 mm It conforming to the requirements of BS EN 1504-3 Class R4
In the vast world of building and construction materials, it can be difficult to guarantee quality in a product. The specific nature of construction means materials must be precise, effective, and long-lasting, so as to withstand the wear and tear of daily life as well as extended pressures or loads. It is within this context that Conbextra TS comes into its own.
In an overflowing market of aggregates and fillers, Conbextra TS acts as a versatile and hardy solution to large gaps that may be present in anything from precast concrete panels to stanchion baseplates. Its properties as a non-shrink, high-strength, and chloride free aggregate make it highly efficient and durable, while the fact it can be pumped or poured allows for all-important precision when filling gaps.
Supplied as a ready to use dry powder, Conbextra TS should be mixed with a controlled amount of clean water. After combining evenly and slowly for a smooth paste, a free-flowing grout is produced which is suitable for filling gaps from 75mm to 500mm in size. Designed for long-lasting outside usage in challenging conditions, many of this filler's benefits lie in the fact that its low water requirement guarantees lasting strength, from initial installation to long-term durability.
It's composed of a blend of graded fillers, selected aggregates, Portland cements, and chemical additives. It is this refined composition that produces such a highly flowable grout which does not bleed or segregate, minimises the risk of thermal cracking and reduces exothermic heat generation, as is common in gap thicknesses over 100mm.
