At Resapol we strive for excellence in everything we do, and as such we have invested a substantial amount of time into achieving various ISO standards. We are proud to consistently hold accreditations for ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 from TUV Nord.
In order to obtain the ISO 9001:2015 accreditation Resapol was required to provide a quality management system which demonstrates our ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
It has been well documented that by managing the processes in a business that efficiency will be improved and objectives more easily attained. Measuring and evaluating these processes has helped Resapol to identify specific areas for improvement throughout the business, helping to create a more streamlined and better customer experience.
The ISO 14001:2015 accreditation specifies the requirement for an environmental management system that Resapol utilised in order to enhance our environmental performances. In order to receive this accreditation Resapol has repeatedly demonstrated the ability to manage environmental responsibilities in a manner that positively contributes to the environmental pillar of sustainability.
Since receiving this ISO Resapol have taken significant measures to further improve and build upon our levels of sustainability, such as the introduction of a streamlined recycling plan for each of our nationwide depots, as well as the introduction of a modern fleet of electric and hybrid company vehicles.
Finally, our ISO 45001:2018 accreditation required Resapol to implement an occupational health and safety management system, providing guidance for its use. This system enabled Resapol to provide safe and healthy workplaces for our staff, customers and visitors, effectively preventing work-related injury and ill health whilst simultaneously improving our OH&S performance.
These accreditations have never been viewed as boxes that have been required to be ticked. By implementing the various systems from an early stage has helped Resapol to understand the basic needs of our staff and customers. Consistent evaluations, using critical data and analysis, have further helped Resapol to shape our business for the better, ensuring we maintain our position as the UK’s leading supplier of construction chemicals.
